Re-start mine as a low capex operation Bord & Pillar growing to ~3Mtpa (ROM) expanding to a higher productivity & lower unit costs over time with permit extension.

Target the Kayuga Seam for restart – low ash and high-quality thermal coal and semi-soft coking products.

Production personnel sourced locally and suited to residential engagement.

Workforce Population ~ 200 plus people at steady state.

Hunter Valley Location

Mining operations in the immediate area surrounding Dartbrook include Mangoola (Glencore 13.5 mtpa approval), the Bengalla Joint Venture (New Hope (80%) and Taipower (20%) 15 mtpa approval), Mount Arthur (BHP Billiton, 36 mtpa approval) and the adjacent Mt Pleasant project (Mach Energy, 21 mtpa approval).

Coal Handling & Processing Plant

The Dartbrook Coal Handling and Preparation Plant has a nameplate capacity of 6 million tonne per annum. It has been well maintained and is in good condition since Dartbrook was placed on a care and maintenance basis in 2006.

Surface infrastructure includes power, water and office facilities.

Existing on-site Train Load Out and rail loop connect to the Hunter Valley Coal Rail Network for coal transportation to the port of Newcastle, the largest coal export operation in the world.

The Hunter Valley's long history of mining has created a large pool of highly skilled workers and lasting partnerships with suppliers as well as stakeholders.
